The Reconciliatory Initiatives for Development Opportunities, Inc. is a civil society organisation founded to harness the potentials of traditional Maranao structure in addressing disputes and/or conflicts.  We work towards insituting traditional mechanisms in conflict settlement and clan organising.

Our foundation rooted from the formidable dedication and commitment of visioned individuals involved in development work and peacebuilding advocacy.  We are guided by a new paradigm in development work, to work together with other social change agents in facilitating stronger development cooperation.

Our work is focused on clan organising in the provinces of Lanao and in capacitating the Council of Elders in various Maranao communities as a support strategy to reduce instances and address cases of rido or conflicts in the Lanao provinces.  Our works are geared toward resolutions of major and minor conflicts by utilising the potentials of these Council of Elders.
